Weekday Sick (Walk-in) Clinic

This service is offered to our established patients only. We will make every effort to allow parents to choose which provider they will see. However, this option may not be available due to the nature of the walk-in clinic. The walk-in clinic is for acute, sick visits only. Physicals, med consults and chronic ill appointments will not be seen and will be scheduled for a later time. In addition, we do not make appointments or pre-book the walk-in clinic.

Choosing a healthcare provider for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Our providers are willing to take the time to go over all of your options as a parent and treat you as a person. We offer a knowledgeable staff who are available to answer any and all questions you may have. We use safe and proven procedures in assessing your child's health. We have a laid back Island theme with separate sick and well waiting areas. Comprehensive Child Care Associates uses an electronic medical records (EMR) system for charting which makes your child's health record always available to the providers. We have implemented a patient portal system where parents and caregivers will be able to easily access their child's lab reports and other requested information. The digitalized scale and vital sign machines minimize the time and stress involved in obtaining important clinical information on your child. We also have a wheel chair accessible scale and exam table for our handicapped patients. Comprehensive Child Care Associates belongs to the Florida Shots Program which is an online registry that allows participating providers access to your child's vaccine records anywhere in the state of Florida. We are also involved in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program which provides vaccines at minimal cost to qualified families.

CCAPeds has worked to be fully Recognized as a PCMH (Patient-Centered Medical Home) and earned Recognition status (effective 4/3/2015) and maintained this status by re-certification at annual checkpoints. We have achieved Recognition status for our North Port Office (effective 9/4/2020) within ten months of opening our doors. We plan to continue pursuing Recognition annually for both locations.
