New Screening Questions & Updates

Hello Islanders!

We want to share an update with you on our latest office Policies and Procedures.

We have been screening all Sick Appointments with the following flow chart (Please see image below).

This same flow will now be used to ensure that our Well Appointments are not interacting with any individuals that may have a heightened level of possible exposure to COVID-19. We hope this will allow us to continue to provide a safe environment for our Patients, Their Families, and our Staff.

COVID-19 Policies and Procedures Still In Effect:

-Masks are MANDATORY for ALL individuals over the age of 2 years old for Patients, Family Members, and Staff.

-Curbside Check-in. Call when you arrive and we will check you in. A Nurse will come to bring you in for your appointment. PLEASE, ONLY bring the child that the appointment is for and one Parent/Guardian if possible.

-Email Insurance cards for proof of insurance at time of visit.

-We still follow all CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics Guidelines and Recommendations.

-Returning to School is still discussed on a case-by-case basis. Please call to discuss your child's specific health concerns.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this ever changing and evolving situation we all currently find ourselves in.
